Samsung recently made the official announcement of their upcoming Tablet, named Samsung Galaxy Tab (GT-P1000).Its expected that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet will be available first in Europe by mid September 2010 and will be hit other markets like South Korea, US, and Asia soon after that.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and is powered with a Cortex A8 1.0GHz Application Processor with PowerVR SGX540.The tablet includes a 512 MB RAM and is housed with dual cameras that includes a 1.3MP front camera for video calls and a 3MP autofocus camera with LED Flash.The samsung tablet provides facilities for recording 720p HD video format at 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.

 

Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet Features Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS, Gyroscope sensor, Geo-magnetic sensor, Accelerometer, Light sensor, HDMI connector and 3.5mm audio jack.The tablet has an internal memory of 16GB/32GB and can expand via a microSD card slot up to 32GB.

New Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet runs on Android 2.2 OS (Froyo) with TouchWiz 3.0 user interface and support Google services.The tablet supports Adobe Flash 10.1, DivX and XviD format.Galaxy Tab tablet also included with various applications like SamsungApps, Google Maps Navigation, Swype keyboard, ThinkFree Office application for editing documents, and e-book reader.
